Executive Director

 

The Steuben County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) is a private 501(c)3
not-for-profit corporation serving Steuben County, Indiana and the communities therein.
The Executive Director is responsible for working with the Board of Directors
of the Steuben County Economic Development Corporation in meeting the
established strategic plan objectives for Steuben County. The Executive Director
manages the strategic plan and annual work plan and monitors goal achievement
through planning, coordinating and administering program activities.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have an established record of accomplishment for leading
industrial growth through expansion and retention of existing industrial
bases, and attracting new industries and business as well as development of programs
and resources to encourage business development.

Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; be a self-motivator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills and a minimum of three years direct practical experience in an economic development organization. The candidate shall have a Bachelors degree in economics, business administration, planning or a related field, CEcD preferred. An intimate knowledge of the various federal, state, and local financial incentive programs is also required.

The salary & benefits for the Executive Director, Steuben County Economic Development
Corporation is negotiable.
