Many options exist today for enhancing opportunities for construction project success, including reductions in the time of project delivery, and lowering the final cost of a project – all made possible by the contract form and delivery method chosen on the front-end of the process. While such contract options differ between the public and private sector, within both sectors there are options to help you lower your risk, manage prime contractors and subcontractors, avoid labor issues, and minimize opportunities for expensive change orders. The contract you sign on the front-end will largely determine if your envisioned project results are realized in the end. This session is to expose you to the most currently accepted contract and delivery formats available for you and your clients to consider as you contemplate any project that involves construction.
